God is 1 eternal entity, made up of 3 persons known as Father, Son (Jesus) & Holy Ghost. They are equal in their divine nature and attributes.

THE FATHER

God the Father is the 1st person in the Trinity. Jesus was not created by Him, but instead has always been with Him, along with the Holy Ghost. The Father is exactly that... our heavenly father. He loves us so much that He sent His only son Jesus to live, die, ressurect, redeem and reconcile us back to Him because of the separation our sin caused. In addition, He planned to give us of His Holy Spirit, to adopt us back into the sonship He orginally designed us to have. He is good and a giver of wonderful gifts, who did not hold back His son, but with Him is willing to grant us all things, according to His will. Jesus is the visible, reflected image of the Father.

JESUS CHRIST
SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: JOHN 3:16-17, PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11, LUKE 1:26-38, HEBREWS 4:14-16, 1 TIMOTHY 3:16, JOHN 1:1-3, COLOSSIANS 1:18

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the 2nd person of the Trinity that is God. He was incarnated as a man by the will of God the Father, in order to save the world from sin & death. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost in the womb of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life & was fully God & fully man. He changed cultural & societal norms, performed miracles, fulfilled prophecy & scripture, died on the cross for the sins of all mankind, atoning for anyone who would accept His sacrifice by the shedding of His precious blood. After 3 days, He was raised to life, ascended to the right hand of the Father after 40 days & will return again to judge the world. He is also called the "word of God" & is a co-creater of the world with God the Father & God the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ is the head of the church.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: GENESIS 1:2, JOHN 14:15-18, JOHN 15:26-27, JOHN 16:7-15. 2 CORINTHIANS 3:17, EPHESIANS 1:13-14

The Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of the Trinity. He was essential to the ministy of Jesus & He is essential for every ministry of the church. He is our teacher, instructor, comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, and advocate. He reminds and reveals to the believer the things/will of God. In addition, He is the distributor of spiritual gifts that are used to edify & empower the church. He indwells every genuine believer & empowers us to live the life God the Father has called us to, in Jesus. The Holy Ghost is the seal of our salvation, the deposit of an inheritance to come.

THE HOLY BIBLE
SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: 2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17, 1 PETER 1:25, 2 PETER 1:20-21

We believe that the Holy Bible alone, is the infallible & authoritative word of God. It is unchangeable, inspired & final in determining doctrine, truth & morality. It is God's chief instruction manual for equipping His people for a godly life, empowering us to produce good works - both in the church building and outside of it, for the glory of God.

THE CHURCH
SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: ROMANS 12:1-5, ISAIAH 54:5, 1 CORINTHIANS 3:9-11, HEBREWS 13:20-21

The church is commonly and divinely referred to as the following: The body of Christ, the bride of Christ and the building of God. It is the collective group of people that meet and do life together, in relationship with God & each other - both locally & globally. It is a family divinely built by God, for His glory & the genuine benefit of one another; the agency through which God has continued to establish His kingdom.

SALVATION
SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: EPHESIANS 2:8-9, GALATIANS 2:16, ROMAN 10:9-10, JOHN 3:16-18, ROMANS 3:23-24, 2 PETER 2:9, 1 TIMOTHY 2:4

We are saved, not by works, but only by the free gift of grace, ushered in by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. It cannot be bought, earned or achieved by one's own righteousness, since all have fallen short of God's standard of righteousness. It is the will of God that ALL ARE SAVED.

WATER BAPTISM
SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: ACTS 2:38, MATTHEW 28:19, MARK 16:16, 1 PETER 3:21

Water baptism is of great importance (although not essential for salvation) which acts as an outward expression of an inward confession regarding our declared reationship with Jesus. Baptism is not permitted for any reason other than to repent of sin and declare Jesus as Lord outwardly; it cannot preceed relationship with Christ.

COMMUNION - THE LORD'S SUPPER
SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: 1 CORINTHIANS 11:23-30, 1 CORINTHIANS 10:16, Luke 22:17-20

Communion is a holy & sacred act of remembering Jesus through consecrated elements - juice/wine & bread. The breaking of the bread represents that His body was broken for us. The juice/wine represents that His blood that was shed for us. It must be taken with the utmost reverence and should not be taken if one does not believe in Jesus as Lord.
